Joel Ball began his adventures in photography working for the Harvard Crimson and Harvard Magazine. He later studied with Barbara Norfleet and gained great respect for documentary photographers of the 20th century:

His work has been featured in National Geographic Kids, Men's Health, Washington Post Magazine, and Ladies Home Journal, among others.
Joel's regular clients include O'Melveny and Myers, the Warren Christopher Fellowship, Engle + Murphy, and Pictures in a Row.
He is based in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and two children.
